Matcha Jelly Candy

girl-fun: Give Me Matcha Love

The insane amount of beauty products aside, one of my favorite discoveries in Japan is matcha desserts.

Matcha (green tea powder) can be found at every market and sushi spot in Tokyo. What I thought was just your garden variety green tea is actually an ingredient in countless sweets here. It’s been around forever, but it’s a new treat for me.

Here are a few of my delicious findings:

Matcha ice cream, sweet adzuki beans, and whipped cream. Perfection.

Cookie, breads, candies… I thought Japan was supposed to have healthy food? I really have to go to the gym.
