It’s funny how you can love something from a past life, only to have it come back to you, but even better than you remembered. That kind of describes my reunion with Anna.

I didn’t always love Anna Sui, but that’s mostly because until recently, I’d overlooked her. I traveled all over Asia for years and saw her everywhere: Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo. I’d always pop into her shops and coo at the cool packaging and funky-yet-wearable fashion and say “Oh yeah… I like this,” but then kind of move on. It was more of an admire briefly from afar kind of thing. But now that I live here FT, I see her all the time. I’m pretty sure she’s going to my in my life for a while. And I am SO good with that.

Her style is fun and feminine, with enough edge to keep you from looking like a cupcake.  Check out the runaway from NY fashion week…

Part goth, part 60’s babe, Anna’s creative direction connects her fashion and beauty lines in the most awesomely awesome ways. I am already thinking about how to translate the urban Lady Hitchcock thing into a wearable look. So into it.
